New Book Design Projects for Anne Neilson and Kathie Lee Gifford
Just had a great couple days in New York City this week working on book design projects for clients Anne Neilson and Kathie Lee Gifford. Anne has crafted another beautiful art book, Strokes of Compassion, with images from her Angel Series, a follow up to her 2012 book Angels in our Midst. The first book has sold over 12,000 copies since she self-published it in late 2012!
I am honored to also be designing a coffee table book for Today Show host Kathie Lee Gifford, Great Gifts; A Year in the Life of a Home. On Wednesday, I met with Kathie Lee and her right-hand gal, Christine Gardner, at The Today Show to review layouts and select materials, and on Thursday we returned to watch the Kathie Lee and Hoda Show. It was a treat to watch the actions behind the scenes, witness an up-close performance by Katy Tiz on set, and get a few seconds on air when KLG shared a photo of a painting Anne donated for a fundraiser KLG hosted at her home this week. Fun stuff!
