I look forward to sharing the art and insights generated during my week in the Smoky Mountains for the 11th Annual Plein Air Convention. I learned about this huge event from Suzie Baker when I studied with her last year in Laguna Beach, and am grateful she put me in touch with organizers. I will be volunteering as a stage manager, will participate in a workshop with Joseph Paquet, and look forward to four days of plein air painting excursions when we aren’t watching demos from Suzie and other rock stars of the plein air painting world.
