Wild Acres Studies
I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in the 2023 Artist Residency Program at Wild Acres Retreat Center in Little Switzerland, NC. I spent six lovely days in solitude practicing plein air painting from the vistas of the Wild Acres amphitheater and nearby Blue Ridge Parkway overlooks.
Several of these oil studies were painted on repurposed cabinet doors, retired from the sample library of a kitchen design studio.
